Bobra Bush, Telcare President, was honored by the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce on May 27, 2010 as their Small Business Leader of the Year. Bush advocates for pro-small business legislation as the Director of Public Policy for the local chapter of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) and on the State Leadership Council and PAC Board of NFIB Florida (National Federation of Independent Business). She has been an active member of the GBRCC since 2000 and of the Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee, where she chairs a sub-committee to educate the community on the negative implications of the November ballot item Amendment 4. She is also a 2001 graduate of the Chamber’s Leadership Boca program. She also has a 21-year history of community and non-profit support and involvement.
The Small Business Leader of the Year Luncheon is held in conjunction with “Small Business Week”, during which entrepreneurs and business people who create goods, services, and jobs, and bring opportunity and economic prosperity to communities throughout the nation are celebrated.
Nearly 400 of the area’s most influential business people attend this important luncheon honoring one of Boca Raton’s most successful small business leaders. Approximately 85 percent of the chamber’s nearly 1,700 members are small businesses. Click here to read the Chamber’s Press Release.
