Bush is the President of a Florida-based firm, Telcom, a telecommunications consulting and bill auditing firm.
“This award is my crowning jewel because it was given in my home, Boca Raton by my colleagues and associates. For the last 21 years, I have taken time away from my businesses, because I knew that the work I was doing in Boca Raton, Tallahassee, Florida’s Capitol, and Washington, DC would come back ten-fold. Being involved in public policy and the legislative process has given me the knowledge to keep me ahead of the curve and grow Telcom’s services, offerings, and technology. This prestigious honor from the Boca Raton Chamber confirms for me that actively participating in the molding of small business legislation facilitates expansion of my businesses and ideas,” said Bush. “The skills I learned lobbying for small business owners, combined with my passion for telecommunications consulting services, have enabled me to consistently push the envelope for our clients, offering them the newest technology. Because of my involvement, I’ve been fortunate to have gained those skills while truly impacting small business public policy.”
Bush is a 10-year member of the Chamber and serves on the Government Affairs Committee, and is a graduate of Leadership Boca, 2001. Bush is also a member of NFIB Florida’s Leadership Council and has been involved for years by traveling to Tallahassee and meeting with State Legislators to advocate on issues affecting small businesses. Ms. Bush owns Telcom, launched in 1989, is a telecommunications consulting and contingency-based telephone bill auditing firm, specializing in corporate clientele as well as state, county and city governments.
